FALLING AGAIN
The season change far too quickly but for some reason this year fall has been "falling" for a wonderfully long time here in Southern Alberta. The warm weather and sunny days have given everyone time to complete what harvest there may have been after the drought and to get ready for winter. Harvesting at the farm and Bradshaw was quick and effortless and the quonset is now done and they have started building a shed next to it.

Grandma and Grandpa have been working hard in the yard getting everything ready for winter like mowing and raking and putting away all the hoses and emptying the waterfall. They have been picking the last of the apples and grapes and have been processing everything in the garage because in the middle of all of the work they are getting the kitchen cupboards redone and everything is in a state of chaos.

As always, there is always time for a bit of play. Grandma and Grandpa went hiking to the little waterfall up Drywood Creek. It was beautiful although a bit windy. We were just a little sad that since our last visit there more people had discovered it and there were quite a few people on the trail and they had built a bench and a bridge to accommodate more visitors. We are happy that others can visit but a little selfish in that we would have like to have kept it as a remote and charmingly isolated spot. Alas, we can’t have it both ways.

Karren Is still working hard in Calgary. She has taken some stunning pictures on Instagram and they are all worthy of a frame. She still is busy with Relief Society and taking care of all the women in her ward.
Lisa has her challenges at work and is still working with the Young Women. Chicago is experiencing high numbers of COVID and many of the people who work with Lisa have had it or have had family who have had it. We are grateful for vaccines and hope that we can all stay safe.
Joanie and Alec have been busy with work. Joanie and Brigham and JR have had many science experiments in the back yard.
John and Amy and little Lily have been on a few hikes and were able to watch Brigham play a game of soccer. Lily is growing and is becoming quite a bit more mobile which means she will be crawling (and ROLLING) all over the place soon.

Janet and Adam and Clark and Grant and little Peter are busy with school and sports and anything else that captures their interest. They do like to play and have fun doing all sorts of neat things.

And so we continue “falling” and hope that it continues for some time to come.
