Ready! What does it mean? Can anyone ever really be absolutely, totally ready? Well you can try...and that is what was happening this week in the Leishman extended family. Grandma and Grandpa did their best to put up the rest of the lights outside so they would be more ready for Christmas!

Brigham and Clark are getting ready to go skiing.

Grandma and Grandpa managed a trip to Waterton to see how they were getting the trails ready for the cross country skiing season. Everything in the town was closed up tight and it was windy and snowy and a little too miserable to ski but the roads were opened and there were others there checking out the situation. Maybe next week they will be able to put on the skies.

We are anxiously getting ready to be finished with Covid restrictions. Meanwhile, Peter got ready for his drive-by birthday party on November 26th. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER! We love you! He practiced walking and driving and playing, all getting ready for being a grown-up.

Not only did Grandma and Grandpa get ready for Christmas by decorating outside but most of the decorating is done inside. Grant and Clark and Peter all helped. Janet just played :)

And Grant, who hurt his ear, got bandaged up by Grandpa.

Now that we are back to no Church meetings for the next few weeks, Grandma and Grandpa take time to get ready for their very own Sunday meetings. Although, it may not take quite as much time, it still takes preparation and thought for what will take place. We do love Sunday and the change that it brings to our week.

Joanie and Alec and Brigham and JR are always getting ready for something...but mostly they are ready for a long winter nap.
John and Amy are still settling in to their new home and are still getting ready to be a Mom and Dad. They now have chickens that they inherited. What a great house warming gift. And of course, chickens mean tasty eggs!

Lisa and Karren and Janet and her crew were all getting ready for Christmas as they tried to access the Black Friday sales. Thanksgiving in the States does give some a bit of a reprieve and time to get ready for the Christmas season.
So we have learned and are still learning that “Getting Ready” can be just as fun and fulfilling as finally getting there or having the event finally come. For that we are grateful.
