Summer Fun in 21

Finally it feels like summer. It started full force and sweltering hot.

Temperatures were above 100 Celsius from the North West Territories to the Gulf of Mexico. Towns in BC and California just ignited in flames destroying many homes and ruining lives leaving nothing but ashes and broken hearts. It was truly devastating in many parts of the world.

In spite of the problems, there was still a lot to be grateful for and lots of fun things to do. Grandpa figured out the loopholes so he and Grandma could get to Provo toe see John and Amy and Joanie and Alec.

He was greeted with his first visit from Lily and it was certainly a wonderful reunion.

Grandma and Grandpa spent time at Lisa’s and John and Amy’s, and with Joanie and Alec. It was fun to play with Brigham and Jr.

Lily received her name and blessing and it was a marvelous occasion to attend at John and Amy’s new house.

They have been fixing up their new home and yard and it is becoming their own. Joanie and Alec have been working very hard in their yard and Brigham and JR. love to play in the sprinklers. It was fun to go on hikes and have private swimming parties and watch a parade and listen to fireworks for several nights in a row.

Grandma and Grandpa intend to somehow visit Lisa next! When Grandma and Grandpa got home, Karren had mowed the lawns and the flowers and yard were beautifully taken care of by Janet and Clark and Grant and little Peter. It was fun to see each other again too. And just think we still have the rest of July and all of August left to play!!!!
