No More Waiting.

Well, finally the little one is here. The waiting was worth it. On the morning of the 22nd of April, in Pleasant Grove, Utah little Lily came to earth trailing clouds of glory. She wasn’t anxious to come at all and the details of it all are long and a bit arduous to say the least but when she arrived, she was as curious as could be about her new world. She had truly long locks of hair rather on the strawberry blonde side of things and big eyes that surveyed the world around her with unabated interest. We are so delighted for her and her mom and dad and are relieved that all is well and they are home now just getting to know each other.

The whole family was delighted with the new addition to the family. What a wonderful thing to have Heaven send the diverse and awesome personalities to add a new perspective to our growing family. We are so grateful for these little blessings who come to earth with a mind of their own and personalities as big as all outdoors.
Grandma and Grandpa had a rather leisurely week amid the mess of renovations. We spent a great deal of time doing little projects in the garage and downstairs. They were able to watch most of the series about the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. They quite enjoyed it. Even though they had Dad’s big TV on for a good portion of the time, they still had some time to chill with Janet and Clark and Grant and Peter.

Karren and Lisa didn’t have much time for anything but the usual. We do hope, as we do every week, that they can have more time for fun and relaxation when the pandemic is finally over with. They have had some of their shots for Covid and maybe that will help.
At the farm they are still renovating the quonset and although it is slow, it progresses a little at a time

Grandpa had Grant and Peter help him stack wood out at the farm and Peter had fun getting lost in the tall grass jungle.

Joanie and Alec had a weekend of stacking wood too. We are very impressed.

We are also very impressed that they were able to clean the gallon of milk out of their new couch that little JR poured on it so beautifully as he was trying to be self-reliant and get his own breakfast and eat it while watching his favorite TV show. We are sure that Brigham had nothing to do with the incident. It only took a few hours and a few washes to try and get all the milk out of the couch but hopefully all the work was successful.

We are excited for warmer weather. However, it is still snowy. There was a duck running around in the back yard this morning and we felt quite sorry for it as its feet must have been rather cold. Next week we are thinking it will be warmer.
